Classical crossover sensations Il Divo are celebrating two decades of musical excellence with their “Il Divo - 20th Anniversary Tour”, a global event spanning Latin America, North America, and Europe.
Known for their unique blend of opera and pop, Il Divo has captivated audiences worldwide, performing at prestigious events such as the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany.
In an effort to modernize their stage design and enhance their live performances, Il Divo’s Tour Manager, Philip Marfleet of Marfleet events, collaborated with Lightswitch's Senior Designer, Ignacio "Iggy" Rosenberg.
Known for his innovative lighting designs, Rosenberg seized the opportunity to work with Minuit Une, a leading name in the lighting industry, using their immersive laser-based IVL Dice fixtures to bring Il Divo's vision to life.
Elaborating on the creative process, Rosenberg explained,
“I have been talking with Minuit Une for a few years now, hoping to find the right fit for their fixtures. Il Divo was probably the last show I thought I would use them on, but when the band decided to modernise their design, I knew the IVL range would be a perfect fit.”
“The variance-free laser unit enabled me to weave elegant beam lasers in a way that went hand in hand with Il Divo’s image, lighting & video content, and complemented their classical music."
Rosenberg praised the versatility of the IVL Dice and its ability to adapt seamlessly to various small to mid-sized venue configurations, making it the ideal lighting solution for this tour.

The fixtures were obtained through Minuit Une’s exclusive UK and Ireland Distributor, Entedi.
Marfleet emphasized the significance of Entedi's support, stating,
