PLASA London 2026 Wrap Up: Part 1
We're not usually ones for dragging things out, but after three packed days at PLASA London, there was simply too much to squeeze into one blog.
So, this year we've split our show highlights into two parts!
Hello Grant 👋
For those with eagle eyes, you've probably noticed a new face in the Entedi team... The man, the myth, the legend... Grant Smith has officially joined us as a brand specialist. With more than 35 years in live events and over 25 years of industry expertise, Grant brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and passion to the team.
Fun fact: Grant's journey began at just 16 years old, working on events such as Glastonbury and Reading Festival, before building an impressive career across multiple areas of the industry.
We're delighted to have him on board. Welcome to the team, Grant! 👏
With the introductions out of the way, it's time to turn our attention to the products stealing the spotlight on the show floor.
SIX WORLD DEBUTS! 🚀
Not one, not two, but six world premieres across the stand. Not a bad way to spend three days at PLASA 🙌
Let's start with one of the biggest talking points of the show: the launch of the NEW B-EYE Family.
This next generation of RGBL multi-lens fixtures certainly pulled a crowd, combining impressive output, rich colour mixing, and the creative effects that made the original B-EYE range so popular.

Judging by the conversations we had over the three days, they're already finding their way onto more than a few kit lists 🙌
Meanwhile, over at Portman, the energy was just as high, with three brand-new fixtures also making their world debut:

Although not one of this year's launches, OMNIRAY was still attracting plenty of attention on the stand. Here's why it remains a firm favourite:

When it comes to trussing, HOF continues to set the standard. From the ever-popular MLT Three Pre Rig Truss, HOFFORK 350 Box Corner and Trusstilt, to CJS couplers and clamps, there was plenty on display to keep trussing enthusiasts happy👌
But it wasn't all about the classics. HOF also showcased Excellent Line (display stand) as well as the new XOOP Spotbar range, bringing adjustable spotlights and tunable white technology to its growing exhibition and architectural lighting portfolio.
One of our favourite HOF moments actually happened away from the stand, where a seminar explored the Royal Ballet & Opera's first overhead lighting rig upgrade in 26 years. The session highlighted how MLT Three Prerig is helping deliver a safer, more flexible, and future-ready solution for one of the world's most prestigious venues.
Behind every great lighting display / puff of haze is great control 👌
While the fixtures were stealing the spotlight, Visual Productions was busy behind the scenes ensuring everything worked exactly as it should. From managing the DMX and video control on our stand to providing solutions for venues and installations around the world, they continue to make complex control simple.
New for PLASA was the RDMRelay2, a compact 4-channel relay designed to give installers smarter, network-aware power control. Supporting DMX, RDM and TCP/IP, and offering full API access for remote monitoring and management, it's another handy addition to the Visual Productions toolkit.
No exhibition stand is complete without a little atmosphere, and JEM had that covered.
From the low-lying fog of the Glaciator Dynamic to the Compact Hazer Pro and JEM ZR25 working away behind the scenes, the range helped us create the perfect backdrop for our product demos throughout the show.
After all, good lighting deserves good atmosphere.
