The crew arrives early. The ground is wet, the schedule is tight, and the rig needs to be up by noon. The nearest generator is 50 metres away, and power hasn't been run to the stage yet.
But the team’s not worried—they’ve got an Instagrid LINK MAX, three Instagrid ONEs and an SRS MCP4-LV in the truck!
08:15 AM With truss and motors in place, the riggers roll out the SRS MCP4-LV, a compact 4-way low-voltage motor controller. It’s built for touring—rugged, rack-mounted, and ready to go. They connect it to the hoists for the lighting truss.
08:20 AM Instead of waiting on mains power, they fire up the Instagrid LINK MAX connected to three Instagrid Ones. Silent, battery-powered, and IP54-rated, it delivers clean, stable energy right where it’s needed. No waiting for cables across puddles. No delays.
08:25 AM The MCP4-LV is now in control of a fully powered-up system. Motors respond smoothly. Everything moves in sync—no surprises.
By 08:35 AM, the truss is up, and the lighting crew is already starting to do their thing, ahead of schedule.
